LaunchPad builds next-generation companies and careers by working with higher education institutions to deliver proven startup resources, facilitate access to a global network of mentors and advisors, and offer unique virtual and physical convening opportunities so thousands of college students can go further, faster.

Students learn by doing, gaining knowledge and critical skills to help them succeed as a founder or contributor to the 21st century economy.

Selected by campus administration to participate among top students in a leadership program.

Leadership Training Day: Trained in leadership and success skills via an introspective and interactive training session.

Speaker Events: Participated in seminars led by celebrities and best-selling authors on topics such as leadership, time management, and goal setting.

Success Networking Teams: Participated in peer based leadership development teams and experience in setting and achieving goals, receiving coaching, coaching others, and holding others accountable to commitments.

Serves as the governing body for the matriculated student population at Queens College. The organization is a backbone for all student-related activities pertaining, but not limited to, all student involvement at the college.

SA is home to the Student Association Executive Board, Student Senate, University Student Senate Delegation and student leaders that represent the student body on various committees.

The CUNY Tutor Corps in STEM brings students from CUNY colleges into middle and high school classrooms, helping them become highly effective tutors and teaching assistants in STEM classrooms of 180 schools by 2020.

The Tutor Corps is a partnership between CUNY’s Office of K-16 Initiatives, the Office of the Mayor, NYC DOE, and others.

The CUNY Service Corps promotes civic engagement among students and prepares them to succeed in their academic and professional careers. Students contribute to New York City’s future while gaining professional work experience and getting paid.

CUNY Service Corps recruits once a year (at the start of the spring semester) and is open to all full-time students. Participants join a prestigious university organization and enhance the sustainability and civic well-being of New York City and its communities.
